Morph is a multipurpose object that can be used as both a futon and a stool. Since properties such as changeability and adaptability can be beneficial for design, I applied them to two of the most important pieces of furniture, one object for lying down and one for sitting. The metamorphic mat uses origami techniques and pull mechanisms to transform from a flat futon to a three-dimensional stool.
